How to Role-play GUIDE By now you've hopefully created a character, and know how they would react to certain scenarios. Now you should survey the threads available to role-play in. If you view the calendar, you can see the a list of threads, a description, and the day they started. Click on one you think you like, and read what is happening. By seeing what other people's characters are doing, you can decide what you want your character to do. Now, post a reply. For most basic replies, you can usually write two or three paragraphs, and describe what your character is doing, his or her's thoughts, and where he is. When you let fighting and crossing obstacles enter the scene, things get a bit tricky. Pull up "http://www.roll-dice-online.com/", select a d20 die. You will roll two dice once. The average you get is the number of damage you have done to your enemy, or prey. For crossing obstacles, use a d6 die. For most obstacles, if you roll a 3 or above, you get to pass.
